I visited the salon recently and had some waxing done and a facial. The results from both my treatments were great, my waxing was done in no time with no hairs left, unlike some salons i have been to before and no irritation afterwards. My facial was so relaxing and left my skin feeling amazing, i now have no dry patches and will be having regular facials as the prices are great and he results outstanding. The staff are very friendly with a nice warm welcoming, i was given some great advise after my treatments to ensure my skin stays great.

I recently visited the waxing studio for my waxing appointment and was thoroughly pleased. After having waxing done for sometime i found my experience here pleasant, friendly and welcoming. I also found it to be a lovely salon and my waxing to be less painful. After having my waxing done i booked myself in for a facial the following week. I left the salon feeling so refreshed, my skin feeling amazing and relaxed, (i actually fell asleep on the couch)i highly recommend the salon as the staff/therapists are friendly, helpful and give excellent knowledge and understanding on what will be happening during a treatment and also give great after care advice. I am certainly looking forward to my next visit.

Though I am fairly happy with the results of my waxing, I have serious concerns about the hygiene. The towel, though it smelled clean, was burned in several places and covered with dried wax. No gloves were worn and I realised after I had left that I had not seen the lady wash her hands between my bikini wax and eyebrow shape- nor did she use gloves. There were scraps of used wax strips on the floor under the table and the container where the hot wax was kept seemed old and discoloured, though it may well have been fine. She (I won't name her) was friendly and no-nonsense, which put me at ease, and she explained the procedure to me with seemingly good knowledge. However, she was extremely rough when pulling off the wax, and seemed to pull it away from my body/face rather than up (I have been getting waxed for years and know the difference between using the right amount of force and simply yanking at it). At one point, two strips of wax became stuck together, and without warning or explanation, I was subjected to even more aggressive tugging. Luckily I have a good pain threshold. When applying cream to my bikini area, she wiped it from the back to the front, which is not hygienic. I was left with quite a lot of wax both on my bikini area and around my eyebrows. Though I appreciate the positive aspects (customer service) I would not recommend being waxed here, simply for the dubious hygiene.
