I've done what was supposed to be a T-Section of highlights with Holly and she did so many that it looks like the whole top of my head has been bleached. She has also burnt part of my scalp as she left the bleach on my head for a long time without checking it (she had no other clients and she was chatting and chilling for ages with the receptionist at the back of the shop). I had to go to the back of the shop to seach for them and I said to Holly that my head was burning. She rolled her eyes and whispered something to the receptionist. After her colleague Sam checked for feedback (Holly never did), they offered to do some dark highlights on the top of everything, completely ignoring the first thing I said to her at the very beginning (I want to do less highlights this time as I want to damage as little of my natural hair as possible, while covering the very few grey hairs I have). No apologies whatsoever, from absolutely anyone. Sam was unable to part my hair in the middle of my head and she cut the lower layer of my hair longer than the rest (showing her inability to also do a straight cut). Sam did the idlest blow dry of the entire history. You can really feel no one there has passion as no one could be bothered to work. No finish, not even a bit of oil after all that bleach and I left the place with my hair looking like a broom. Everything I said was dismissed by long non-sense speeches and denials. Smell of cigarette smoke was coming from the back of the shop while Holly and the receptionist were at the back. They don't introduce themselves and they speak a low class slang. The only decent person there seems to be the manager and I feel sorry for her. She was on holidays on that day (I know because I originally tried to book with her). I've been there twice only because my hairdresser was fully booked and on holidays, but I won't be going back as this is not the service I usually get and also not the kind of environment I'm used to. I have now covered the damage with a semi-permanent hair colour and when I have time I'll be going to a proper hairdresser to align my haircut.
